Trust Without Delay

“WHOEVER BELIEVES IN THE SON HAS ETERNAL LIFE.” – JOHN 3:36

At a busy airport, a sudden gate change is announced, but many travelers hesitate, unsure. One woman immediately gathers her things and moves. Others watch, then follow. She has no extra information—she simply trusts the announcement and acts without delay, arriving exactly where she needs to be.

Jesus reveals that He comes “from above,” speaking with the full authority and truth of God (John 3:31). To believe in Him is not merely to agree, but to receive and trust what He reveals. Like the traveler who moves promptly at the announcement, faith responds with action, not hesitation. In Acts, Peter and the apostles embody this trust, boldly declaring, “We must obey God rather than men,” even under threat. Their courage flows from certainty that Christ is Lord of all. The Psalm echoes this assurance: “The Lord hears the cry of the poor,” reminding us that God is near in every trial. Faith means entrusting our decisions, our fears, and our future to Christ’s voice above all others. Today, choose to trust Him without delay. Act on His truth, knowing He leads you into life.
