“THIS IS THE WORK OF GOD, THAT YOU BELIEVE IN HIM WHOM HE HAS SENT.” – JOHN 6:29
A man constantly upgrades his phone, chasing the latest features, yet always feels dissatisfied after a few weeks. One day, his old device breaks, forcing him to use a simple phone with fewer distractions. Surprisingly, he finds more clarity and peace, realising that what he truly needed was not more features, but a different focus altogether.
The crowd follows Jesus, but He gently exposes their deeper motivation—they seek Him for what they received, not for who He is (John 6:26). Like the man chasing constant upgrades, it is easy to pursue what satisfies temporarily while missing what truly sustains. Jesus redirects them toward a greater hunger: “the food that endures to eternal life.” Faith is not about accumulating blessings, but about entrusting ourselves to Him. In Acts, Stephen stands firm in truth despite opposition, his face reflecting a peace rooted not in circumstances, but in God’s presence. Real faith reorders desire. Today, look beyond what fades quickly. Seek Christ Himself, not only what He provides—and you will discover a deeper, lasting fullness.
