“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes” – John 14:6
A traveller finds himself lost in a city with no signal or map. Frustrated, he stops a local for directions. Instead of explaining complicated turns, the man says, “I’m going that way—just walk with me.” Though unsure at first, the traveller follows. Step by step, he reaches his destination, not by knowing the route, but by trusting the guide.
Thomas voices a familiar uncertainty: “How can we know the way?” (John 14:5). Jesus does not give directions—He gives Himself: “I am the way.” Like the traveller who reaches his destination by walking with a guide, faith is not about mastering the path, but trusting the person who leads. In Acts, the early Church responds to growing needs with wisdom, ensuring that both service and prayer remain rooted in Christ. Each role builds the whole. Peter reminds us we are “living stones,” formed together into something greater than ourselves. Even when the future feels uncertain, the way is not hidden—it is personal. Today, stay close to Christ. Walk with Him. You may not see the whole path, but in Him, you are already on the way that leads to life.
