You scroll past every reflection, skip every biblical message, but freeze the moment something wild, nude, or trending appears.
Your heart no longer hungers for truth; it’s been trained to crave entertainment. Every scroll is a seed. What you keep feeding your eyes is quietly reshaping your soul.
Heaven is still speaking, but your attention has been sold to the algorithm. The same thumb that swipes past Scripture double-taps temptation without a second thought. You’ve guarded your phone with a passcode, but left your spirit wide open.
Jesus said, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light” (Matthew 6:22). One glance may feel harmless, one reel may seem funny, but repeated exposure dulls your hunger for holiness and sharpens your appetite for the world.
Don’t let your screen steal your spirit. You can’t feast on darkness and expect to walk in light. You can’t keep sowing to the flesh and wonder why your prayer life feels dead.
Today, take back your scroll. Unfollow what defiles you. Linger on what draws you closer to Christ. Let the first thing you seek in the morning be His face, not the feed.
Because the content you consume in secret will one day confess you in public.
Closing Thought: Your feed is forming you. Make sure it looks like Jesus.
Scripture Focus: “I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless.” – Psalm 101:3 (ESV) “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” – Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)
