Fully Known and Fully Loved by Jesus

“Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” – Luke 5:12

A man hesitates before entering a customer service office, convinced his problem is too messy to explain. When he finally speaks, the representative listens calmly, addresses the issue directly, and resolves it with care. The relief comes not just from the solution, but from being treated with dignity rather than avoidance.

Like the leper, we often approach Jesus aware of our need but uncertain of His will. Yet the leper’s words reveal deep faith—he never doubts Christ’s power, only humbly submits to His mercy. Jesus responds not with distance but with compassion, reaching out to touch the untouchable and declaring, “I will.” This moment does more than bring healing; it restores dignity, identity, and relationship. It reveals the heart of God toward those who feel unclean, overlooked, or ashamed. As 1 John 5:11 reminds us, God’s testimony is that eternal life is found in His Son. To encounter Jesus is to encounter life itself. Bring your broken and “messy” needs to Him without fear. Trust His power, rest in His will, and receive the assurance that you are fully known, fully loved, and welcomed by the Giver of life.
