Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you-John 14:27

Fights erupted in the noisy nightclub. Deon, the 6’5” bouncer, moved through the crowd like a shadow – breaking up disputes with just his look. At the bar, a nervous guy asked, “How do you stay so calm?” Deon smiled, touching his heart. “I’ve got a peace inside that nothing here can break.”

In John 14:27, Jesus gifts us His peace, a steady anchor in life’s storms. Like Deon, we’re called to stand firm amid life’s storms—bills, conflicts, and fears. This isn’t mere positivity; it’s Christ’s resurrection power pulsing within (Phil 4:7). When stress surges, pause. Whisper His name. Let His peace, rooted in His victory (Romans 5:1), rise louder than the noise. You’re anchored in Him—press on.

Loving Father, thank You for the peace of Jesus, a gift that anchors me in every storm. When chaos surrounds me, let Your peace rise within, louder than the noise. Steady me with Your resurrection power, as promised in Philippians 4:7, and let me rest in Your victory from Romans 5:1. Help me whisper Your name and press on, secure in You. Amen.
