Christ Never Misplaces a Soul

“I will never cast out whoever comes to me.” – John 6:37

A woman mailed a small, important package through a trusted courier. When storms disrupted other deliveries, hers was safely redirected and arrived on time. She realised its safety didn’t depend on the package itself but on the company’s steady commitment to deliver what was entrusted to its care.

The unshakable will of the Father, fulfilled perfectly in Christ, is that none who come to Him should ever be lost. Jesus assures us, “I will never cast out whoever comes to me” (John 6:37). This is the firm foundation of our hope, especially as we remember the faithful departed. While the world sees death as loss, faith recognises it as transition—the soul securely placed in the Father’s care (Wisdom 3:1). Christ’s obedience ensures that all who belong to Him are preserved for resurrection life. Our safety rests not on our merit, but on His mercy. His keeping is complete, His promise unbreakable: none who trust in Him will ever be forgotten or forsaken. Rest in this truth — Christ never misplaces a soul. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
