Faith Beyond Sight

“BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN AND YET HAVE BELIEVED.” – JOHN 20:29

A young woman applies for her dream job. She excels in every interview, then hears nothing for weeks. Friends doubt her, but she quietly says, “I still believe.” One morning, the offer comes. She weeps—not for being right, but because hope held before proof arrived.

Thomas struggles to believe without seeing. The other disciples have encountered Jesus, but he wants proof—something he can touch and verify. When Jesus appears again, he meets Thomas in that exact place, inviting him to see and touch. Then he speaks beyond the moment: “Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” This is where we stand. We were not in that room. We did not see the wounds. Still, our faith is not less—it is deeper, because it trusts without sight. The early believers lived this kind of faith daily through prayer, fellowship, and generosity. Their belief shaped how they lived. Like the woman who trusted before the offer came, we are called to hold hope before evidence appears. Today, your faith may feel unseen, but God sees it. Believe.
