“as many as touched him were made whole.” – Mark 6:56
When a mobile clinic arrives in a remote village, word spreads quickly. People carry relatives on mats, line up along the streets, and wait patiently. Doctors do not enter every home; they remain where they are. Healing happens simply by showing up, stepping close, and trusting the help offered. Distance, not effort, was the only real barrier to care.
Wherever Jesus goes, people bring their wounded to Him, trusting that closeness is enough (Mark 6:53–56). Like villagers gathering around the mobile clinic, they do not demand explanations or guarantees; they move toward the presence that heals. In the temple, God’s glory fills the house once the ark is set in its place, leaving no doubt that God chooses to dwell among His people (1 Kings 8:10–11). Psalm 132 echoes this longing: “Arise, O Lord, into your resting place.” God’s power is not distant; it rests where He is welcomed. Healing begins with approach, not perfection. Christ remains accessible, inviting faith that reaches out even trembling. Today, notice where Jesus already is at work. Bring what aches. Draw near without fear. Trust that even a simple touch of faith still opens the way for His restoring power.
