God’s timing is like a traffic light — it turns red not to frustrate you, but to keep you safe from what you can’t see coming. Green is coming; rushing the red only causes wrecks. Wait for it — He’s directing traffic better than you.
Waiting is rarely comfortable. When progress slows or doors remain closed, it’s easy to assume delay means denial. Yet many of God’s red lights are acts of mercy. He sees intersecting paths, unseen dangers, and future turns that we cannot anticipate. What feels like a pause is often protection in disguise.
Scripture reminds us that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8–9). He is never late, never careless, and never absent. In the waiting, He shapes our character, deepens our trust, and aligns our steps with His purpose. Rushing ahead may feel productive, but it often leads to regret and unnecessary wounds.
“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage” (Psalm 27:14). The green light will come — right on time. Until then, remain attentive, prayerful, and at peace. The One guiding the journey sees the whole road.
