“‘In Him we live and move and have our being.- Acts 17:28-
Imagine a fish swimming gracefully in a vast ocean. It moves freely, hunts for food, and feels at home, yet never consciously thinks about the water. The water surrounds and supports every movement, provides oxygen, and is the very medium of its life—even though it’s unseen and often unacknowledged by the fish itself. Without the water, the fish could not live, move, or exist.
Paul’s words in Acts 17:28 remind us that just as a fish depends on the water it lives in, our existence is held within God: “For in him we live and move and have our being.” Often, we rush through our days, busy with tasks and worries, unaware that God is the unseen foundation supporting every breath, step, and thought. This verse calls us to a deeper awareness: God is not distant but intimately present—our very ground and sustainer. Take a moment today to feel God’s constant embrace. You live in Him, upheld by His endless grace.
