A boy hears stories about a famous artist but has never seen his work. One day, he visits an art gallery and encounters a painting. The artist’s unique style and design are so striking that the boy exclaims, “This must be the artist’s work!” In the painting, the boy recognizes the artist’s essence—expressed through vibrant colors.

Just as the boy recognized the artist’s essence in the painting, Jesus reveals God’s essence to us. When Philip asked to see the Father, Jesus pointed to His words, works, and life as the perfect expression of God. In Christ, God’s love, truth, and power are not distant—they are revealed through Jesus. We don’t have to search for God in distant places; He’s right here with us. Today, let us fix our eyes on Jesus—the perfect image of the invisible God.
